Whether you are looking for rod bending carp action on our specimen lake, a day pleasure fishing on Alder Pool, a chance to fly fish on the crystal clear trout water for trout or Carp or even the chance to bag a Wels Catfish Burton Springs has it all! Set in 13 acres of land overlooking the Quantock hills in North Somerset you can be guaranteed a quiet relaxing days angling in idyllic surroundings and the chance of some personal best fishing.

Taking advantage of our location and beautiful surroundings we now have three Log Pods available for fishing trips or holidays. If you want a back to nature experience but without the hassle of putting up a tent, then one of our Log Pod's which is insulated and kitted out with beds, chairs, table and electricity would be perfect for you. We are on the cusp of the stunning the Quantock Hills where beautiful walks can be enjoyed and located next to the West Somerset Coast Path, that runs from Steart to Minehead, so there are plenty of beaches and tourist attractions to explore. The fishery is situated just 10 miles outside of Bridgwater in the hamlet of Burton and is easily accessed via the M5. The Specimen Lake contains many carp over 20lbs, including three over 30lbs, one of which is a Grass Carp, perch up to 4 lbs and tench up to 8 lbs. Alder Pool our purpose built pleasure lake offers excellent bags of bream, tench, carp (including pure crucian carp), roach and rudd. KINGFISHER LAKE (Currently open for Cat Fishing, season ends on the 29th of October 2017. Fly fishing season begins 13th November.
In the spring of 2015 we opened Kingfisher Lake as the first licensed Catfish water in Somerset, it is open during the months April through to October. It is currently stocked with Wels catfish to 78lbs, carp and other coarse fish. We have two double swims and two single swims available for bookings from the 31st of March 2017. Exclusive bookings and lakeside pitches for caravans and motorhomes are also available, please contact us directly for further details. During the winter months the lake is open for fly fishing for trout and is stocked with good quality rainbow, blue and brown trout up to 6lbs, catch and release and catch and retain tickets are available
